MINDFUL AND SAFE FLEXIBILITY…

There was a blind man sitting on the sidewalk with an empty can an a sign asking for financial support. Sudenly arrives this elegant publicist and changes the sign of the blindman.

Many people arrives and fills the can of the poor blind man with money. When the publicist returns (to the blind man), the poor man identifies him (through the steps, smell and feet touch), then blind man asks the publicist:

What did you do for this support be provided? The publicist answered, I just changed the strategy.

This is not about anyone or both taking advantage of people, it was obvious the need for compassion and support to the blind man; actually is about being receptive and flexible to changes in life.

Be open to change your turn, without stubbornness when required.

To trust yourself when your intuition or inner light tells you, that is time to change what is no longer serving for any good ( if it’s happening). Moving out of the comfort zone take us closer to the light out of any temporary darkness.

This is one of the main reason why I approach flexibility area, during  savasana ( last part of a yoga practice) while I’m teaching.

I encourage the practitioners to observe while laying on that mat,to surrender to that moment (without resistance) to look at themselves within; from an outward perspective and objective lens without judgement.

To acknowledge their physical bodies, feel proud of themselves for all the flexibility they had and for trusting their breath connection and follow the postures safely.

To observe how that level of flexibility can be transfered to the treatment and care to themselves, in order to become happier in life and share compassion with their loved ones and furthermore humanity.

Last but not least:

“Yoga is not for the flexible, it’s for the willing”

Have a blessed ☀️ day!
