Hey there, I have been sharing information on Semperlee Yoga’s Blog regards this science.

Still there is a long way to walk here about Mindfulness through Yoga and Meditation.
There is an article “Just Breathe And Be The Energy You Want To Attract” (Sep 24, 2016) providing an anatomy perspective about the movement of our oxygen and energy through our breath.  It describes our second layer Pranamaya Kosha.

Also its important role by being the liason between our physical body and subtle body, which based on the Yoga philosophy to help us understand the nature and relation of the human being.

For this there is a structure of Five (sheaths) Koshas, also explained on the article “I’m Peeling Off The Many Layers Of Me… To Find Myself” (Aug 19, 2016 ).

Our bodies and minds are encouraged to establish boundaries and pursue rehabilitation process.

Anatomy philosophy expect us to acknowledge that our cells are the first action of life within, and from that moment they will rise awareness regards how important is to live by the principle of setting boundaries.

In addition to setting boundaries, cells regeneration process keep constant manifestation that rehabilitation is possible.

Rehabilitation is the act of restoring something to its original state, like the rehabilitation of the forest that had once been cleared for use as an amusement park.

As a  former Criminal Justice College student,  I was trained to live by the principle and encourage Rehabilitation.

Criminal Justice field takes you to embrace and intercept the darker corners of the human mind while Yoga shines the light of awareness into the darkest corners of the human body.  Two big reasons to keep my interest for updating knowledge on both areas.

Another fact to be shared is that within the Military Service was a coincidence to realize that Medical Readiness also encourages Soldiers through the process of rehabilitation.

We need to pay attention to our bodies and our minds, when they send warnings regards when to pay attention to something or any course of action that instead of improving our quality of life; direct us to the opposite.

When we practice Yoga the synchronization of moving the breath and energy (within our bodies) through the practice of asana or postures, something wonderful start to happen:

*  It is a combination that help you stay free from diseases, not just because of their organ specific asanas, but also due to the meditation and pranayama practices like previously approached.

 Adho Mukha Svasana

is a great asana for overall health. It’s considered an asset to any Yoga practice, which include Yang or Yin Yoga practices as well.

It’s an empowering posture because helps students transition through an extended variety of postures during a sequence.

Regards Flexibility:
In Yoga asanas are very complex and that is why they can only be mastered over a period of time.
Though it is no child play at first, once you do master the various asanas of yoga, your body becomes very flexible and agile.

Asanas such as Uttanasana, Paschimottanasana, Supta Badda Konasana, Utthita Parsvakonasana and Virabhadrasana series help attain flexibility.

Hence throughly following and the careful application of alignment instructions (provided by a certified teacher) are a must in order to prevent unnecessary injuries.

Stress Relief:
Yoga is designed for the overall happiness of humans. While asanas tend to the physical bliss of the body, meditation and pranayama can help relieve stress.
While you focus on the breathing helps your mind shift attention and gain a larger perspective of your own life.

Breathing exercises like Kapalabhati (Shinning skull ) and Bhastrika ( Breath of fire) and asanas such as Malasana (Goddess  pose), Sarvangasana (Shoulder stand),  help in stress relief.

Weight Loss:
Since yoga involves a lot of stretching and unusual poses, the fat that otherwise gets accumulated in various parts of the body gets burnt out through yoga.
Various asanas such as:

Ardha Chandraasana ( Half Moon pose),

Virabhadrasana poses( Warrior poses),

Utkatasana ( Chair or Thunderbolt pose),

Vrksasana (Tree pose),

Uttanasana (Forward bending pose),

Surya namaskar (Sun Salutation variations),

Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Lord of the Fishes pose),

 Badhakonasana (Bound angle pose),

Kumbhakasana (Plank Pose),

 Halasana (Plow Pose),

Setubandhasana (Bridge Pose) etc.

Help in reducing weight.

Better Immunity:
Yoga also helps in developing a better immune system.
Since various yoga postures directly heal cells, tissues and organs, asanas such as:

Matsyasana ( Fish Pose),

 Ustrasana (Camel Pose),

Dhanurasana (Bow Pose),

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog Pose),

many others help in achieving better immunity.

Good Posture:
Since one is required to sit in a proper posture in asanas, the overall posture of the body also gets better. With the tension in the muscles and primarily in the spine, (which is a problem area for many) reduced and eventually gone, people are able to maintain a perfect posture for their bodies.

Better Blood Flow:

With improper blood flow, a lot of people experience swelling in various parts of their body. The breathing exercises of yoga help the oxygen reach the blood and also helps in keeping blood pressure normal.

Anti- Aging and Glowing Skin:
Due to limitless intake of junk food and stress, people start to age before their time. Asanas help in reducing wrinkles, pimples and are also effective for the old. Yoga also helps in bowel movements, which results in better skin. Performing the Kapalabhati breathing technique also helps to attain glowing skin.
Yoga, unlike any other form of exercise has helped many people battle deadly chronic diseases, and has remarkably rehabilitated paralysis!

Yoga practice is picking up worldwide, however a lot of adrenaline pursuers are still stuck to their treadmill routine.

It’s ok, we keep going little by little. I used to be into that group, until developing concious awareness of returning to my earlier years of Yoga practice.

I ended realizing that through Yoga I became able to enjoy the best of both worlds.  Energy boosting, furthermore a better inmmune system physically and psychologically.

Give yourself a chance to embrace the overall  wellness from Yoga, as there are so many types of yoga available today, another advantage for those (like me) who likes flow and variety.

Actually, you just have to chose the type of yoga more in sync with your lifestyle and what you want to achieve and bask in all its benefits.

Last but not least:

” Yoga is not for the flexible, it’s  for the Willing
